ILLUMA
Illuma was a branding project focused on creating a fragrance identity that felt established from day one. The goal was to design a brand with the presence of a heritage perfume house, that was timeless, refined, and built to last.
Throughout the project, I drew inspiration from Japanese design philosophy, particularly wabi-sabi, embracing simplicity, restraint, and the beauty found in subtle imperfections. The visual language also references traditional Japanese brushwork, influencing the typography, compositions, and overall rhythm of the brand to create a sense of movement and craftsmanship.
Every design decision, from the identity to the packaging, was made to communicate elegance without excess. This project reflects how I approach luxury branding: creating identities that feel authentic, enduring, and designed to age gracefully rather than follow trends.
